Katharina Prochazka receives Danubius Young Scientist Award for Austria

On November 7, 2019 our former PhD student Katharina Prochazka was awarded the Danubius Young Scientist Award in Bucharest as part of the Danube Rectors Conference.

The Danubius Young Scientist Award is granted by the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research and honors exceptional scientific achievements in all disciplines related to the Danube region. Candidates are nominated by the institutions they are affiliated to.

The prize is given annually to a young researcher in each of the 14 countries of the Danube Region - this year Katharina Prochazka received the award for Austria in recognition of her research on language shift in the area of the former Austria-Hungary.
