Katharina has researched the diffusion of languages in our group for the past four years, combining her two interests, physics and linguistics. At her defense on April 24, she presented the results of her dissertation “Diffusion modeling of language shift in Austria(-Hungary)” and completed her collection of academic titles and letters (BA BSc MA MSc!) with the title Dr.
