The chosen location was Stuhleck, not least due to the danger of avalanches elsewhere. After a scenic ascent along the Kaltenbach the forest line was reached through the Karl Lechner house. Here it could be seen that winter was not completely over yet. Prof. Vogl set the pace for the most part and especially the younger participants agreed that the professor was still in an enviably good shape. The physical well-being after the ascent was restored in the Alois Günther house.

In the evening the birthday was celebrated in extended company and with lots of good food at the Heuriger in Nussdorf. Many tales about ski tours past and present made for smiles among those present.
